Sweeping chimneys in Arundel
Arundel has some of the most characterful chimneys in West Sussex — tall Victorian stacks, cottage flues in the town centre and a good number of larger period homes with multiple working fireplaces.
Tall stacks draw well but they also collect more, and a flue that hasn't been swept in a few years can hold a surprising amount of soot and creosote. I'll show you what comes out, so you can see for yourself what the appliance was dealing with.
Every visit finishes the same way: hearth cleaned down, soot bagged, smoke draw test done and a HETAS certificate in your hand.

“Wanted to get my wood burning stove ready for the winter season. The Flue Fighter website was easy to book through and great to be able to pick an appointment time if the next available slot isn’t convenient. The work was carried out very professionally and Jeremy explained what he was doing as he went along. Stove passed with flying colours and we’re now all set for winter. Five star service.”

“Jeremy swept our chimney last week to prepare us for the winter burn. He was friendly, thorough and efficient. He picked up on a damaged seal on the door and replaced without delay. He was able to offer some advice about the wood we burn by looking at the soot that he cleared. Highly recommended to anyone with a chimney!”
