Sweeping chimneys in Lancing
Lancing is a five-minute run from my base in Worthing, so it's one of the areas I cover most often. Whether you're down near the beach green or up towards North Lancing and the Downs, I can usually offer a slot within a few days.
A lot of Lancing homes have had wood burners fitted into older fireplaces over the last decade. If yours was installed by someone else, I'll check the flue liner, the register plate access and the baffle while I'm there, and flag anything that isn't right.
Every sweep is done with sheets down, a proper seal on the appliance and a commercial vacuum running throughout, so your living room looks exactly as it did when I arrived.

“Wanted to get my wood burning stove ready for the winter season. The Flue Fighter website was easy to book through and great to be able to pick an appointment time if the next available slot isn’t convenient. The work was carried out very professionally and Jeremy explained what he was doing as he went along. Stove passed with flying colours and we’re now all set for winter. Five star service.”
“Jeremy (Flue Fighter) did a great job with my wood burning stove. Professional, helpful and left the area clean and tidy. I thoroughly recommend.”
“Jeremy swept our chimney last week to prepare us for the winter burn. He was friendly, thorough and efficient. He picked up on a damaged seal on the door and replaced without delay. He was able to offer some advice about the wood we burn by looking at the soot that he cleared. Highly recommended to anyone with a chimney!”
