Sweeping chimneys in Steyning
Steyning's high street is full of timber-framed and Georgian buildings, and their chimneys deserve a sweep who slows down. Old parging, offset flues and inglenook openings all need a different approach to a straight modern liner.
If your property is listed or in the conservation area, I work with that in mind — no drilling, no forcing, and a clear conversation before anything more than a standard sweep happens.
Bramber and Upper Beeding are covered on the same visits, so give me a call and I'll find a slot.

“Wanted to get my wood burning stove ready for the winter season. The Flue Fighter website was easy to book through and great to be able to pick an appointment time if the next available slot isn’t convenient. The work was carried out very professionally and Jeremy explained what he was doing as he went along. Stove passed with flying colours and we’re now all set for winter. Five star service.”
“Jeremy (Flue Fighter) did a great job with my wood burning stove. Professional, helpful and left the area clean and tidy. I thoroughly recommend.”
“Jeremy swept our chimney last week to prepare us for the winter burn. He was friendly, thorough and efficient. He picked up on a damaged seal on the door and replaced without delay. He was able to offer some advice about the wood we burn by looking at the soot that he cleared. Highly recommended to anyone with a chimney!”
