Sweeping chimneys in Pulborough
Pulborough is the northern edge of my patch, and it's well worth the trip — plenty of rural properties here run a stove hard all winter, and those are exactly the flues that benefit most from regular sweeping.
If you burn a lot of wood, moisture content is the single biggest factor in how quickly your flue tars up. Anything above 20% moisture will coat the liner in creosote fast, and that's what turns into a chimney fire.
Book a morning slot and I'll usually be with you first thing, so you can have the fire lit again the same evening.

“Wanted to get my wood burning stove ready for the winter season. The Flue Fighter website was easy to book through and great to be able to pick an appointment time if the next available slot isn’t convenient. The work was carried out very professionally and Jeremy explained what he was doing as he went along. Stove passed with flying colours and we’re now all set for winter. Five star service.”

“Jeremy swept our chimney last week to prepare us for the winter burn. He was friendly, thorough and efficient. He picked up on a damaged seal on the door and replaced without delay. He was able to offer some advice about the wood we burn by looking at the soot that he cleared. Highly recommended to anyone with a chimney!”
