Sweeping chimneys in Littlehampton
Littlehampton is the eastern edge of my regular patch, and I make the run along the coast for appointments here and in Rustington, Angmering and Ferring. It's a short hop from Worthing, so I can usually keep the same standard pricing.
A lot of homes in the BN16 and BN17 postcodes use wood burners through the colder months, and coastal conditions mean pots and exposed metalwork need an eye kept on them. Salt air and wind off the Channel can accelerate corrosion and lead to rain getting down the flue.
If your fire has been drawing poorly or you've noticed a smell of soot when the wind's in the wrong direction, a sweep and a smoke draw test will usually tell us what's going on.

“Wanted to get my wood burning stove ready for the winter season. The Flue Fighter website was easy to book through and great to be able to pick an appointment time if the next available slot isn’t convenient. The work was carried out very professionally and Jeremy explained what he was doing as he went along. Stove passed with flying colours and we’re now all set for winter. Five star service.”
“Jeremy (Flue Fighter) did a great job with my wood burning stove. Professional, helpful and left the area clean and tidy. I thoroughly recommend.”
“Jeremy swept our chimney last week to prepare us for the winter burn. He was friendly, thorough and efficient. He picked up on a damaged seal on the door and replaced without delay. He was able to offer some advice about the wood we burn by looking at the soot that he cleared. Highly recommended to anyone with a chimney!”
